Quick description
Situated in a dominant position on a sweet hill of the hinterland of the Marche region Montemaggiore al Metauro is visible from afar.
This is an intimate ( a familiar image) picture of the surrounding area(surroundings).
A medieval village, recovered and transformed into an “horizontal” hotel, an Albergo diffuso: 2 Campanili Relais ( launched last June 2008,whose name grows out from the presence of the two
brick-made belfries which stands out over the low dwellings).
You can take a walk, in this magic atmosphere, while your footsteps resound upon the paving made bright from the passing of time, while cats lay dozing (napping) under the sunshine.
You can choose to sleep in one of the 35 rooms ( large and comfortable, all located (disposed, ,settled) within the ancient historic centre which is completely surrounded by the walls) built upon small houses with red brick walls and scattered among the cobblestone alleys of the sixteenth century of the ancient district, still inhabited by some residents with whom the guest can naturally exchange friendly talks.
The inner spaces of the Relais convey feelings and sensations of warmth, with his wooden beams(timbers), wrought iron beds, pieces of furniture which goes from the plain art to the liberty style.
Here is moreover possible to leave oneself to the gentle touch of our Wellness Centre :
To our guest’s disposal an intimate and elegant Spa (where different kinds of relaxing body and face treatments are worth to be tried: from the ajurvedic to the shiatsu massage ) with heated Jacuzzi pool and sauna.
But the philosophy of wellness embraces also the tradition of the good regional cuisine.
Inside the rooms of Palazzo della Rovere (furnished with ancient pieces of furniture, fresco ceilings, antique stone portals, fireplaces of the sixteenth century and doors of the seventeenth ) the restaurant, opened not only to the Hotel guests, offers a selection of local dishes which are able to let the guest rediscover the ancient and forgotten tastes.
