The company’s offices and reception are located at the centre of the property in the main villa: here you will find us at your disposition to help you discover Casa Sola, its products, its fascination and its surroundings. On this side is the heart of our company: the fermentation and aging cellars. Here passion, experience, tradition and innovation are founded on the search for the maximum potential from our grapes. On two hills equidistant from the centre of the estate there are two housing complexes called Podere Montarsiccio e Podere Ticciaia. Lovely colonial houses recently renovated and completely equipped for Agriturismo’. The houses have eleven apartments all with a private entrance and patio or garden, some are duplex apartments to ensure a major privacy. The barbecue area has a wood oven, there are common washing and drying facilities, cooking lessons and a wine tour with a wine and oil tasting are available for guests. The beauty of the spot and the breathtaking views which can be enjoyed at Casa Sola allow our guests to indulge in full relaxation in life and the culture of Chianti. Casa Sola possesses an ancient vocation for agriculture, here grew not only vineyards and olives but also grain and vegetables for the surrounding lands. Owners of Casa Sola for three generations, the Gambaro Family manages the company since 1960, transferring their passion and respect for this marvellous land into the wine and oil which they produce. Under the management of Giuseppe Gambaro Casa Sola had its greatest development and growth when in 1985 he decided to get involved personally in the management of the estate and began to work full time at the company, bringing it's experience as a manager and his curiosity and passion for the fine things in life and began a delicate process of vineyard, machine and equipment renovation and restoration. From then on the story of the company has become that of our family. Today, the children Matteo and Anna have stepped in to take part in the estate following the family passion and the story continues…

Yellow Apartment (75 square metres on two floors) for 4 persons with two double bedrooms, living room, kitchen, one bathroom and outside patio.

Green Apartment (106 square metres on two floors) for 4 persons with two double bedrooms, large living room with a very characteristic fireplace, kitchen, one bathroom and outside patio.

Blue Apartment (113 sq. metres on two floors) for 4 persons with one double bedroom, one double bedroom with a characteristic loft, one and 1/2 bathrooms, living room with its original manger – it was an old barn - kitchen and outside patio. The garden is very private and big.

Pink Apartment (85 sq. metres on two floors) for 4 persons with one double bedroom and one twin bedroom, one bathroom and living room with a big fireplace, kitchen and outside patio. In the twin bedroom is possible to prepare 4 single bed, it’s about 25 sq. meters.

White Apartment (140 square metres on two floors) with four double bedrooms, large living room with fireplace and its original manger, kitchen, two bathrooms (1 with tub and one with shower) and outside patio (one bedroom is located on the ground floor and it’s quite little). In the apartment a dish washer for 6 persons and a oven.

Red Apartment (95 square metres on one floor) for 2 persons. Open space in a private house with double bedroom, large living room, kitchen, one bathroom and outside patio. Dish washer and oven. Our honeymoon apartment, it’s a renovated barn. Large private garden.

Lavanda 2 Room (39 square metres on one floor) for 2 people. Living-room with sofa bed and kitchen, 1 double bedroom, 1 bathroom with shower and air conditioning. Outside garden.

Biancospino Suite (41 square metres on the second floor) for 2 people. One double bedroom, one bathroom with shower, living room with sofa bed, kitchen, air conditioning and outside terrace.

Salvia Suite (40 square metres on the second floor) for 2 people with one double bedroom, one bathroom with shower living room, kitchen, air conditioning and outside terrace.

Lavanda (1+2) On the ground floor, 102 square metres for 6 people. 2 Living-rooms with sofa beds, kitchen corner, 3 double bedrooms, 3 bathrooms (1with tub and 2 with shower). Big garden just outside the apartment.

We can direct you to many restaurants and pizzerias in the area all within 5-10 minutes by car. There is also a local market, bakery and butcher in the town of San Donato in Poggio, which is 5 minutes by car from the apartments.
If requested within 48 hours before the arrival, we can arrange a small breakfast basket to be delivered to your apartment every morning at the rate of Euro 5/6,00 per person per day. We can also arrange a welcome dinner for the day of the arrival

On arrival to our reception i twill be our pleasure to organize or give you information on cultural events or naturalistic itineraries you can visit during your stay at Casa Sola so you can make the most of your vacation.
Casa Sola is at 28 km. Distance from Florence and 40Km. From Siena, in 5 minutes bay car you can reach the medieval town of San Donato in Poggioand Baarberino Val d’Elsa, in 10 minututes Castellina in Chianti and Tavarnelle Val di Pesa, in 15 minutes Panzano in Chianti and Fonterutoli, half hour and you’re in Greve in Chianti or Radda in Chianti, Monteriggioni or Montefioralle, or San Gimignano... Ours is a strategic starting point for your visits in the Chianti area but also for your shopping sprees. In about one hour you can reach the best outlets for the most famous designers such as Gucci, Praga, Dolce and Gabbana etc.. In only a little one hours’ drive and you are in Pisa or Lucca and the enchanting Tuscan beaches…..

From ROME, you should take the A1 NORD direction FIRENZE until reaching the VALDICHIANA exit. Take this exit and after paying the toll, take the first right from the roundabout following the signs to SIENA: You will join with a four-lane motorway and travel on it for about 45 minutes. Upon reaching SIENA, follow the signs to FIRENZE/BOLOGNA (do not enter into SIENA. This will join another four lane road which you will take for another 45 minutes until reaching the exit for SAN DONATO. Take this exit, turn right off the off ramp in the direction of SAN DOANTO and CASTELLINA IN CHIANTI.

FROM PISA, take the motorway direction FIRENZE. Upon reaching FIRENZE, join the A1 SUD direction ROMA until coming to the FIRENZE CERTOSA exit. Take the exit, pay the toll and take the first right off the roundabout direction SIENA. You will join another four lane motorway for approximately 15 kilometres until reaching the exit for SAN DONATO. Take this exit, turn left at the intersection in the direction of SAN DONATO and CASTELLINA IN CHIANTI

Stay on this road for about 5 kilometers. You will pass by the town of SAN DONATO on your right (do not enter into the town) and into a narrowing of the road. Continue along until you see the sign for VILLA FRANCESCA on your right. About 50 meters on your right after this sign is the road for TIGNANO and CORTINE. Take this road continue past the town of CORTINE and after about 3 kilometers, the entrance for FATTORIA CASA SOLA will be on your right.

In an ideal position for excursions throughout Tuscany, surrounded by 120 hectares of vineyards, woods and olive groves, Casa Sola is in the heart of Chianti Classico area. The beauty of the environment and the breathtaking view from the estate consent the guests to enter the life and the Chianti culture in a completely relaxed atmosphere.

For those who would like to deepen their knowledge of our winery and products, we are delighted to offer guided tours and tasting. We will give you an introduction to the techniques of vineyard cultivation, the secrets of our cellars and allow you to taste all of our wines. The tour and tasting take approximately 1 hour and include the following: tour of the winery including some historical remarks about the property and philosophies of the winery, tour of the fermentation and oak barrel cellars and the wine tasting. It is also possible to accompany your tour with a snack of typical Tuscan products, such as cheese, ham and salami. For groups of 10 people or more, there is also the option of adding a lunch or dinner to the visit. Our wine shop is always open but for better service and attention and, in any event for groups, we suggest making a reservation in advance by email at wine@fattoriacasasola.com or telephone at +39 055 807 5028. Our tours are also available in Spanish, French, Italian and German.

Our cancellation policy is as follows:
Cancellations 61 days prior to arrival: Penalty of 15% of entire stay
Cancellations 31-60 days prior to arrival: Deposit withheld as penalty
Cancellations 4-30 days prior to arrival: Penalty of 80% of entire stay
Cancellations 0-3 days prior to arrival: Penalty of 100% of entire stay

Our apartments are suitable for families and the area outside is safe, free from cars: a wonderful green space for free play.
