The gently hillside around Tavarnelle, rich with olive trees and vineyards, is the setting of Fattoria Querceto, a lovely ancient farmhouse recently converted into 6 tasteful apartments. The apartments are furnished with a high standard, and a special care has been taken to maintain the Tuscan atmosphere of the apartments, ensuring the original character and enhancing it.
The communal gardens, that surround the Farm, are spacious, with tables and chairs provided for each apartment, as well as a barbecue area.
Olive groves surround the farmhouse, and amongst them are set a pleasant swimming pool for guests' use. A tennis court is also available. Fattoria Querceto is well located for exploring this lovely region, with Florence just 30 Kms away and Siena 40 Kms away. Both are easily accessible via the nearby highway. A public bus also stops just a few hundred metres from the house. The small village of Tavarnelle Val di Pesa is just 4 Kms away, and there you will find a grocers shop that is opened every day. In La Romita, a little village close to Fattoria Querceto, there is a foodstuff shop that is open even on Sunday. Swimming pool normally in use mid May-September

Suggested route : Take the A1 Milano-Roma motorway and exit at Firenze-Certosa; continue along the Firenze-Siena highway and exit at Tavarnelle. At the stop turn left and follow the sign for Tavarnelle V.P.. After 2 Km turn right following the sign for S.Pancrazio and after 1 Km you will find Fattoria Querceto.

From the hills of Querceto the eye commands the beautiful slopes of the Pesa valley, where the even rows of the vineyards gently mingle with the silvery glow of olive groves.
In this unique setting lies the farm of Querceto, close to the panoramic road which, starting from the hamlet of Romita, follows the crest until Montespertoli. The ancient group of masoned buildings consist of several units, one propped up against the other, forming a unique and picturesque whole, typical for Tuscan farms.
Querceto is divided into apartments of different sizes, restored and furnished in the ancient style of Tuscan countryside, respecting the architectural style of the period. The apartments are provided with individual heating and with all the facilities of modern comfort.
Between the olive trees, the guests have at their disposal a tennis court, swimming pool, a payphone, a laundromat, mountain bikes, TV sets and ample areas for casual enjoyment, like the characteristic “aia”, a place in front of the farmhouse, where once the peasants used to meet.
The farmstead of Querceto lies in the middle of a zone rich in places of artistic and historical interest. It is only 20 km away from the historical city of Florence, and 40 km from Siena. It is even nearer to many smaller places of no less beauty and attraction, which can easily be reached even by public conveyance (the bus stop is only some hundred meters away from Querceto).

- Cancellation in the period between 1 month and 15 days before arrival of the customers: we will keep 50% of the total reservation price
- Cancellation from 15 to 2 days before arrival of the customers and no-shows: we will keep 70% of the total reservation price
- Cancellation 1 day before day of arrival or no-show: we will keep 100% of the total reservation price
