The whole building was built out of stones at the end of the 1800, it has been restructured and the main architectural lines have been kept. We live in the farm, it will be possible to find one of our family members available at any time to help you with tourist information or else. The farm was founded in 1970 today we grow grape on a 16 hectares land, from where we produce wines D.O.C., cereals and fodder.

We offer flats, all independent, very comfortable with all of today needs and a touch of colours from the past. Each flat (4 people maximum) is fully furnished with kitchen and bathroom, air conditioning, television, phon. There is a common garden where to relax and a common room with a big fire place, where you can meet other people, taste wines and liquors, read a book and wath some television. One of the flats and the common rooms offer disable services .

Art is very strong in this Italian county; the beautiful towns of Reggio Emilia, Parma, Modena, Maranello (with the Ferrari Museum) are very close to us, smallest cities with their rural castles are to be found everywhere in the surrounding area.
Sport activities can also be done, swimming, tennis, horse riding, golf, walking, trekking and after a tiring day it is possible to go and relax at the Baths which are not far from the farm.

Highway A1 exit Reggio Emilia, follow indication Modena exit airport and follow sign for Scandiano SS467 pass Bosco town center and at the traffic light turn left towards Fellegara, at the “T” junction turn left and left again at the second “T” junction.

“Il Brugnolo” farm is located 3 km. away from Scandiano town center, at the bottom of the hills, in a lovely oasis away from the chaos, surrounded by plants and animals. Born as a “family farm” Il Brugnolo has been developed into a characteristic B&B where you will find yourself in a perfect harmony with nature.


Your stay will be very interesting, it is possible, in fact, to take a bike and ride one of the fantastic paths up and down the hill; you may also want to enjoy our traditional food and wines; to taste some of the homemade cheeses; you con help us picking grape; or you can do nothing at all!!!!
It is a very safe place for children, they can play freely, and they can run after hares and pheasants, with no need of a guardian.
